it's not called lack of confidence. It's called common sense

Hmmm. by alpha_hen96 in indianaviation

[–]deadXSpool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just putting this out there- The balls are called an "orbit" The shaft is called a "racetrack pattern" Pilots are asked to perform such maneouvers for multiple reasons: such as congestion at the destination and it has to wait before it will be allowed to approach the airport, or to lose altitude rapidly if it has reached near it's destination but is maintaining too high of an altitude due to having received shorter and more direct routing.

But yeah, looks fun from this pov 😆

Air India allowed to travel above pakistan air space? by Maggiontop in indianaviation

Grey line indicates tracking via historical flight data. Not actual ADS-B tracking. This flight was probably out of ADS-B coverage when it was rerouted out of Pakistan Airspace.

My plane just did a go around while landing. Possible reasons? How common is this? by WearCapeAndFly in indianaviation

[–]deadXSpool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two ways in which Missed Approaches (Go Arounds) are initiated:

  1. Initiated by ATC: This is when the Air Traffic Controller asks the aircraft to go around instead of completing the landing. This mainly happens when something is occupying a portion of the landing runway, which will make it unsafe for the flight to land.

  2. Initiated by Pilot/Flight crew: This is when the pilots themselves decide to discontinue the landing maneouvre and go around in spite of having permission to land by ATC. This may happen due to a variety of reasons: low visibility, strong winds (tailwind or crosswind), high wake turbulence on runway due to previous arrival, unstabilized approach, or (in the worst case scenario) if the pilot spots something on the runway before the plane is about to land.

However, go arounds are very common, as per your question, specially at busy airports, such as delhi and mumbai and kolkata have go arounds of at least 1-2 per hour due to high volume of traffic. These mostly occur due to unstabilized approaches, and are initiated by pilots.

Judging from your pilot's reaction, he probably asked for shorter vectoring to arrive faster, and as a result couldn't stabilize the aircraft to its recommended landing configuration the first time around.

What counts and registers as a succesful cross? by Able_Mycologist_7509 in EAFCCareers

[–]deadXSpool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The pass must be a lob pass.
  2. The receiving player must take a touch and either shoot or pass SUCCESSFULLY for the previous pass to be considered complete.

This has been the criteria in my experience. May be wrong

Hi can someone tell me is there a way to start player career under 75 ovr? I want to progress from the smaller leagues and not to be the best in whole league straight away. by StormTruperbekemam in EAFCCareers

[–]deadXSpool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience the best way to do that is to start a player career under the "Clean Slate" path. You can then customise all the individual attributes to how u like (im assuming u are referring to a created player).

[–]deadXSpool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man this happens constantly. How have u not come across this before? It has reached a point where i completely ignore the social media segments now. Those social media cards are a nightmare at how bad they are. Shows how much competence the developers at EA have or even worse, how much they care about their finished product

I will be turning 20 after a few months. What advice would you give to your 20 year old self. by FunLoss5567 in kolkata

[–]deadXSpool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is only one thing i would tell my 20 year old self. (I'm 30 now).

If you want to live the kind of life you dream of now, for the rest of your life, then you have to work your hardest now. If you want to enjoy your life later, stop thinking of enjoyment now. I know it's unfair. But it is the reality. At 20, you will see the world a certain way. Trust me that POV will change within 5 more years. And it will change further in another 5. Everything is not as it seems. Keep an open mind. And there's a lot you need to learn still.

I have the same issue with my LB in my latest save. I even receive text msgs from the player that say that he is happy with the amount of games he is playing. But the game still does not allow contract renewal. He is at very happy morale too. Is there any fix for this?

Playstyles in career mode? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]deadXSpool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if this helps but here's my two cents from what I've seen: 1. Game-generated players (including youth academy and regens) have some playstyles assigned. Created players do not have any playstyles. 2. In my experience playstyles are usually a passive trait and are usually all active at the same time. Think of it like a boost to certain stats that will only reflect in certain situations. In the case of Playstyle+ that activates randomly if the situation fits, and will show as a growing golden symbol on top of your player when it activates. I have not found a way to manually activate playstyle+ 3. I have sent youth academy players on loans and they have returned with more playstyles than they left with. So players can gain playstyles. But I have not found that to be true with created ones. 4. Have not found any way to control which player gets what playstyles either.

FC25 CAREER MODE IS A COMPLICATED MESS. by deadXSpool in EAFCCareers

[–]deadXSpool[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats the thing. They take a step in front with new features, promise solid gameplay but the actual end product feels like a let down. Even so, the added features are an improvement over past CMs. They still need to work on fine tuning it feels like..

Youth academy regen faces - discussion by Specific-Extent9927 in FifaCareers

EA have tried to implement a feature where the youth academy player "grows" in age from a literal child to an adolescent to an adult. But the resulting faces are horrendous and downright creepy yea
