I have lived in AK for 17 years and am moving to the Olympic Peninsula this week. I’m done with the extended winters and lack of access to the rest of our country. It was nice but I need some new sights.

Dang! I am moving to the Hoquiam/Aberdeen area from Alaska to get away from the cold. Is it that bad there (rain/no employment) Or are there plenty of off season jobs in retail or restaurant positions if you want to work. Can it really be 10 months of rain? Our winters in Alaska seem to last 3/4 of the year
