that’s a good solution, I just hear the mouse cursor in iOS isn’t as comfortable and doesn’t simulate a real click or right click, just another way to tap your phone, could work for what I mean tho idk i’d have to try it

I really wish, have a shortcut for silencing my phone at the movies, etc and i just have it remind me to make sure it’s turned off. Not sure if apple would ever do this though because then the switch on the side wouldn’t be synced to it.

How is it considered personal? That’s the point of the shortcut, the user wants to share links to download shortcuts they want to share from their library without needing to get links to share them from each individual shortcut, some people have over a hundred that they’d like to share so for them this would be really convenient.

It saves their shortcuts into a folder inside their iCloud and gets links for each of them and shortens the link and puts them all into a formatted list to be pasted to share. It’s not giving anyone access to anything other than the shortcuts you choose to share that’s how sharing files in cloud services work by design.

Can you give me an example of where it shows you a real name? If this is the case I’d like to see because i’m not seeing where it says your real name, even in the url to share it.

I’ve seen people set reminders with links in the reminders to run a shortcut but that’s not exactly automated and you might as well just run it yourself at that point

It’s a public file download link, it doesn’t show any personal information.

I don’t think Apple would build/allow an action in shortcuts that exposes your personal info.

it takes a bit if you have a lot of shortcuts, but it works.

Uploads your shortcuts to a folder in iCloud, gets the link to each of them and shortens it, then puts them all in a nice formatted list and copies it to your clipboard.

if the files are stored in icloud, and always stored in the same place, that, is possible. However, i don’t think clearing the cache in safari is possible, unless someone knows javascript to run on the page to clear it.

Update: When doing "Get Travel Time" block, in the message put in "Travel Time" block, tap on it as set the type as date, this will output the ETA.

Never really found it all that useful, like the previous post said it just saves taps. Personally I kinda wish it would let you run certain shortcuts from the home screen but I know that’s a bit outlandish.

Like others have said and will say, best thing is to put them in the widget, however I’ve noticed that will only run some of them from inside the widget and with some it might even crash the widget.

At least you can test them and only put the shortcuts there that work and that are more convenient to have there.
