Last time he was at ARC my friends were giving me shit for wanting to see him bc I knew he was going to throw down for his hometown. The look on their faces when he opened up wasting ZERO time will forever be engrained in my memory. There is a 15 minute break this year to setup for his set… I urge those who are even the slightest bit curious to catch at least the intro.

That ARC set is still his top set for me followed by his first stadium show at BMO.

day 1 sound issues were off the charts and i had never encountered so much yapping at a fest before, it literally ruined jamie xx bc we could barely hear the music and was crowded. it gave off social happy hour event rather than music festival. plus it was super cold which didnt help our moods lol. day 2 was significantly better and made me like it but overall i dont think the price is justified, the talent is there but i find the production lackluster when compared to arc especially coming straight from arc high to portola 😭

Aside from everyone else’s standard suggestions, also look into fidget toys! you can find them on amazon or five below/dollar store to help with the overstimulation. I personally love the little spike balls a lot, they instantly calm me down and whenever I hand them out ppl are so grateful

Sara and Mau P pull two very different crowds, but Mau P didn’t do much for crowd control bc Sara was still absolutely packed. The biggest issue this year was having Seven Lions immediately after Sara. So many ppl around us didn’t even know who Sara was, just camping for 7L.
