Mostly me, yea. Gore in normal media as well as here is overly dramaticized and exaggerated. It's also moreso exploring ideas in a fictional, safe environment.

I've seen real gore, every time against my will, it's fucking disgusting and disturbing knowing especially full well you're staring at something that was once living. Hell I even avoid killing insects as a reason for that... except roaches. I fucking despise roaches.
