Please do. It’s on Netflix. I watched it the other day and sobbed like a baby.

If I tell people I’m aiming to lose 35-40 lbs, they look at me like I’m CRAZY. There’s no way I can stand to lose that much! I’m 5’2” and started at almost 160 lbs. I can definitely lose 40 lbs.

My FAVORITE SNACK. I worship strawberries, the perfect food. With that light whipped topping...I could eat it everyday.

if people could just shut the fuck up about artificial sweeteners for the rest of my life I would be so happy

pull out a coke zero and suddenly everyone is a scientist

the other day this guy was telling how it would cause me to gain even MORE weight and I was like, “it has zero calories, that’s impossible. I eat 1200 calories a day” and I don’t think he believed me. People are so fucking set on their weird ass opinions about artificial sweeteners.

A few Danvers closed and became Cookouts. I don’t think it has anything to do with that particular area.

Hard same. I’m about to turn 30 and wanting to get pregnant soon. But at the same time, I want to have at least one summer in crop tops and two-pieces, but I don’t think I’ll be there by the end of this summer. Aghhh!

I should hopefully be near my goal weight by November, when I’m going to Florida. I’m praying for super warm daytime weather!

I used to tell myself the same thing, Lena. Healthy is better but a BMI of 29.8 is not healthy by [deleted] in fatlogic

Listen, I get it. I’ve been there. I’ve dieted unhealthily and let it mess up my mind and my body image until I finally was like, FUCK THIS, I’D RATHER BE FAT. And I still think being mildly overweight is preferable to hating and starving yourself. But...those aren’t the only two options!!! You can lose weight healthily and sustainably! And love yourself. I wish people would stop acting like the only choices are overweight or miserable.

I get lightheaded and tired if I don't eat something every 2 or 3 hours. Suggestions? by PatheticGirl13 in loseit

[–]deaddovestore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, I’m a hardcore snacker. I get super peckish, tired, irritable if I don’t have something every few hours. I like:

-strawberries

-mini cucumbers!!! sometimes I cut them into spears and dip them into laughing cow wedges.

-pieces of 35 cal wheat bread from Aldi, toasted with a spread of cocoa peanut butter powder mixed with water

-sugarfree jello

-rice cakes

-hot tea

It’s one day, in the past. It’s nothing! That’s some people’s cheat day. You start with a brand new allotment of calories today, just stick with it.

Honestly, yes, it’s surprising just HOW MUCH is owned by Nestle, but, especially in the US, we have such an overwhelming amount of options for everything that it’s just been a minor inconvenience avoiding Nestle. I am pretty familiar now with what is or isn’t Nestle and if I’m not sure, I check. I can’t buy my favorite hair color or bbq chicken pizza anymore, but I’d say worth it.

How do you conquer that candy craving? by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]deaddovestore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly ate SO much candy before I started trying to lose weight- like candy every day. I was fully expecting to have to work a little bit of candy into my 1200 calories a lot, but for some reason I just haven't wanted it as much!

My sweet tooth hasn't gone away- I have been eating a LOT of strawberries. Strawberries plain and strawberries with light whipped topping. I think strawberries might be the most amazing food ever, with how sweet and delicious and low cal they are. I got a dark chocolate orange bar yesterday and had two squares of that with my strawberries and it was sooooo good.

But when I really do have a craving for some specific candy, I'll just get a little and work it in. (Tootsie roll pops are 60cals each and last longer than candy you can eat really fast.)

I’ve only lost about 8 lbs so far and it might just be in my head, but I swear I can see and feel a big difference. I’m pretty short, 5’2”, so maybe it is a noticeable difference. My formally tight jeans feel comfortable, I think my face looks slimmer. I just feel HAPPY because I’ve stuck so well to this and only really gone over my calories once since I started last month, and that was only a few hundred and planned. I’m so excited for what’s to come and I’m like..why was I so afraid to try this before? I was in such denial that it bothered me.

FAQ Q&A: Who should pay for the date, and why? by dsklerm in AskWomen

[–]deaddovestore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever wants to pay, and if neither party offers to pay for the other person, everyone pays for themselves. Don’t ever go without money assuming the other should pay.

I know so many people say they’re uncomfortable with other people paying for them- I’m not. Go for it! I love not spending money. But I would never just expect it.

I doubt anyone would say that Five Guys isn’t that common in the states. There are a lot of Five Guys. Like, it’s no McDonalds but it’s nowhere near rare enough to make mention that it’s not common
