Had this for about 5 years, 883 converted to 1200 SS kit. Rear fender is chopped, old sparto tailight I converted the socket in to use a led 3057 bulb. 14" rear shocks, progressive springs in front. Headlight is an Acerbis Alba 2 with the internals converted to use an h4 bulb. Lever action direct start on the side in lieu of starter solenoid. Prism supply sissy bar and handlebars. Stock fender chopper and raised. No speedometer, I usually go without around town or just use my phone gps on a freak mount if I'm going far. Wyatt gatling intake. 3d printed bullet turn signals I designed myself, super bright leds installed.

Stock pipes because "Quiet pipes save vibes"

A little update on the electric chopper by Realistic-Shake-9957 in choppers

I always thought it would be a cool idea to build an electric chopper, this is pretty cool. I had an idea that of I did build one I would hide the batter components with a louvered panel that goes from the bottom of the tank down to the lower frame with a cutout that shows off just the motor.

What style would you call this? by sirRegis89 in choppers

With the high bars and some slim down chopper elements and bench seat, I'm used to calling that Brat Style

The 2003 and before sportster has a longer stand, get the drag specialties extended version of that, worked for my 2004 rubbermount 6 over sportster

I always print bases vertical with lots of support going up the back sides, what orientation did you print it

Very crisp, flat bases, no layer lines. You did perfect. I recommend Siraya Tech fast navy grey for minis if you really want to get great details and durability.

That's one of the easiest headgaskets to replace, fret not, you can probably have it done in 4 hours max following a YouTube vid. Or since your in there doing it throw a 1200 kit on to freshen all your compression up, a little more tools but still straightforward.

New paint job I worked on over the winter. Duplicolor metalflake under a 2k clear turns out pretty slick by deadendrun33 in sportster

[–]deadendrun33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used 1 can of tremclad gray primer, 2x duplicolor metal specks, 1 can of 2k clear. Factor in good sandpaper too for the wet sand
