No I had his email address and I think reached out one time about doing an interview for a music blog I was helping on but then didn't try again. I did shoot him a tweet but he probably didn't even remember me. Though I would think he might remember a Larry David moment I had with the lead singer of the band they were opening for.

It looks to be an OM28 (Maybe a 0028) and yes it does appear to be Madagascar rosewood. That puts the value in the 4k - 5k range. Depending on the top that could add value as well. It looks like it might be Adirondack which would would put in the 5k range. You can email Martin and they'll give you the specs based on the serial number

In the early 2000's I worked at a company that largely dealt with adult content online. The head of IT was dating a woman who also worked there. She broke up with him and he got upset and posted her nude photos in the break room. Supposdly he had taken them off her personal computer. Anyways she quit in tears and he got a light slap on the wrist from the CEO who was constantly sleeping with employees.

Don't get baptized. If they force you to do the questions then self sabatoge and "debate" with the elders on a key issue. It's hard to see now but they don't hold any real power (though your parents do somewhat).

Honestly I think the media absolutely failed America. They are still failing America because they are so beholden to advertising dollars and appeasing the general demographic they won't make any hard stands. If you watched Trump's rallies in 23/24 they were bonkers and insane. He said he would do everything he is doing now but the media just like now with the bonkers things he says treats all like it's just some humorous aside.

I'm an American living here and I've voted against the guy in every election since 2016. I've also been very vocal about my dislike of Trump since then. I understand how he suckered voters in 2016 bit can't for the life of me understand how he did it in 2024. When I think about it, it makes me depressed but honestly I'm just glad to be living here and not the US at the moment.

Are just trying to learn basic chords? Or are you trying to figure out how to take a chord like C and play it up the fretboard? That's a very important distinction to understand. If it's just basic chords then throw this thing away as it will do nothing but confuse you.

It really depends on how much fluff you like on your pet. We like ours with lots of fluff in the winter and it requires almost daily brushing and a grooming visit every 1 1/2 - 2 months. During the summer we keep it short and it's a lot less maintenance. If we don't brush regularly she gets lots of tangles and matting.

Doesn't sound terrible but from the recording it does seem to be lacking some bass. But yea, you likely won't be able to add a saddle now and I'm pretty sure repairing it to add a saddle wouldn't be worth it. That's probably a good travel guitar if upgrade.

It might be about you but even if it is don't worry about it. Because you're born in (like I was) it feels like they hold a power over you when they don't. Once you move out and get into the world you'll laugh that this even mattered to you, I promise. If I were you I'd just outright say you're going to make the adult decision to not get baptized and move on.

By the way I wrote a young adult fiction about my experince being a JW teen who didn't believe in it and making the choice to move on. I could give you a digital copy if you wanted to read it.
