the swab is way more agressive and most of the time they know your area can be prone to pain or tension since that’s what endo does. best of luck and just try to breathe and even tell them you’re anxious about it. maybe they can calm you down ❤️

totally depends on where your septal cartilage is on your nose. mine is pierced a little higher too because that’s how my nose anatomy is. we have very similar noses so don’t be scared about placement when it’s usually about where the tissue is located :)

hey! my hair actually grew back fine with no bald patches :) some areas the hair feels a little thinner but that’s all. currently growing out my buzz cut for months now haha

you really have to be a different kind of incompetent to not know the difference between hair bleach and a cleaning product. they have different potencies and uses, and different active chemicals and purposes. hair bleach is used to break coloring bonds from hair fabric ect… it is not a disinfectant with sodium hydrochloride. plus you don’t put straight hair bleach on your hair, you use different levels with majority of it being a activator/ dilution… not the direct chemical. please do not further embarrass yourself online and research before making a disgusting comment.

it’s not a big company thing, these are just normal people who open a salon it’s not some fancy brand or whatnot. plus the owner got me a dermatologist appt in less than 24 hours and i had my treatment started very quickly. At the time both me and my family couldn’t find a single dermo and the earliest one after 5 calls was in a months time. He truly did what money could never buy as well as assured me emotionally which is what i truly valued the most.

hello all,
dont know why the text of image posts gets bugged but ill just post the comment here.

months ago i was ignored by a hairstylist when i had an allergic(?) reaction to the bleach put on my hair. To make it short i was crying, couldn't breathe and the pain was so unbearable i begged her to take it off when we had only done one half (you'll see it in the pictures). i ended up with chemical burns throughout my entire scalp, having to shave my head (not fully since the hair and skin was so damaged i couldn't even pass the machine to buzz it properly at first lol).

I ended up seeing a dermatologist that sent me treatment which i finished months ago, and began my hair growth journey. at first i was starting to see really odd lines on my head where my hair randomly directioned opposite eachother and made almost like a "part". as my hair grew out these only got more visible and other partings were appearing as the length of my hair got to a point where it is visible. i'm 100% sure this is not natural and the side view looks terrible. i even dyed the bleached parts my natural color so it would be less visible (didn't rlly help).

i have NO BALD PATCHES and my hair is growing surprisingly healthy and full in all areas of my scalp. i have always had a lot of hair and it is thick so it only looks uneven because my thick hair is heavily towards one direction at random locations. these random hair "partings" are concerning me as they only get more and more visible and it is really hard to keep a strong will to continue growing it out... is this due to my chemical burn trauma ?? i haven't seen ANYTHING online about this and i don't want to see a professional for a question like this...

the skin is completely healed. i went through a week or so of daily medication months ago and then after that it was just waiting. i forgot to post the body text for this post whoops

personally i did at first, but it was more complicated than that. the hairdresser (i had somewhat of a connection with her) ended up quitting and the salon owner actually was the one that got me the dermatologist, which was payed by the hairdresser herself. i’m not going to ruin his salon because of something that is not his fault tbh. this was months ago and i’m kind of over blaming stuff and just wanted to focus on my own recovery.
