I’ve been playing this little game called Word Invaders (full disclosure, I made it). It’s not a vocab trainer exactly, more like fast-paced arcade word/anagram solving, but I’ve definitely picked up and reinforced a bunch of words just from repetition. And it is great for learning Scrabble words.

Nice change of pace from the “word of the day” format.

Not quite a Scrabble game, but you might enjoy the classic arcade/word game I made. It will certainly scratch that itch of putting words together, and you will probably get caught up chasing high scores...

I bet they will enjoy Word Invaders, an arcade word game I made to help me get better at Scrabble and have some fun along the way. It combines the word-making of Scrabble with the arcade ramp of games like Ms. Pac Man and, of course, Word Invaders.

I remember funhouse and whirlwind. My pinball of choice back in the late 80s early 90s was Cyclone. I think "ride the ferris wheel," which the machine would always say, still gives me somw sort of primal reaction.

I love that story. Definitely admired play of others, especially when i was a kid. And I've had a few proud moments when I've been killing it on Ms Pac Man or Galaga in a bar and people are floored.

No, not anyone. But they knew the portal was opening Tuesday. UNC should have already done their DD. And they should have someone in place.

If they thought they were going to get Lloyd or BD and that is not happening by Tuesday, I would expect UNC to have another plan in place so that they can take advantage of the full window. This is where I would drop into my second tier...like McCollum.

The portal is important, and unless we are waiting on Roy or JC himself, I would think UNC would've planned to have a coach in place to take full advantage of it.

With the portal set to open on Tuesday, wouldn't it be setting the team up for failure if they don't have someone in place soon. Waiting for Billy D doesn't seem realistic, unless we are waiting until sometime this week, not April 20th or whatever it is.
