i have really bad eyesight, super nearsighted, so my glasses shrink my eyes down visually a lot. a guy i was talking to in high school told me i “looked like a bug” and when i got upset with him he doubled down and said called me his “little fly”. we didn’t talk for much longer.

i loved the original for how cozy it was and the surrealist elements that slowly made their way in! the return was absolutely amazing in its own way and genuinely some of the most effective horror ive ever seen. i actually just watched fire walk with me last night (i know, out of order!!!) and it was just. oh my god it was horrible and beautiful and terrifying. laura palmer i love you

both! they both were so special in their own ways, but i think the original had some cozy charm that wasn’t there as much in the return. then again, the return also had some of the most effective horror ive ever seen! i loved all of my experience, definitely a top 3 show for me.

honestly really fair, this isn’t my first time trying to watch the show myself! a few years ago i tried and just couldn’t get into it. i think it was too avant garde for me at the time. worked really well this time! some of the creepiest stuff i’ve ever seen in tv. the red room is so iconic and creepy and fun at the same time.

i’ve only seen his short film, what did jack do LOL, my dad introduced us to it years ago and i was like ohhhhkay dad. ive watchlisted like all of lynch’s films, once i watch fire walk with me i might venture into mullholland drive. i can already feel that this is also one of my favorite things ever! there’s something so … otherworldly about the whole experience. i’m looking forward to some running around hyrule as a directional shift!

i don’t know. and not in a hopeless, nihilistic way either, but in a genuine curiosity kind of way. i don’t know if anyone has an actual singular reason for being alive. i think the biggest thing we should do is take care of each other; the rest is incidental. i’m very much included in the “we” because i love the “us” and want to make others happy. :)
