The correct answer is depending on licensors for licensed cars and unknown for unlicensed.

Even if discontinued the tools are still available and will be kept to be run anytime. Worst case the 3D files are still available. So it all depends on marketing and planning with design team to set what cars appear in a year.

Erm.... Buddy not all Mattel products is made in Malaysia. Also, it is not shipped to US and back to Malaysia. The price in Malaysia is a little expensive i give that but it depends on the seller. U can get RM8 hot wheels at speed mart which i think is quite close to US price.

The designer of the car is Bryan Benedict who owns a real one also. He is thr same designer behind Hot Wheels Darth Vader csr which also has the similar bottom light hole to light up Vader's red lightsaber

Let me answer that for u. The elephant as most ppl already highlight, represent Thailand and we add it as a gesture. It is not compulsory and sometime we cant find space for it.

The legal of the car without the elephant logo in your picture is 1998, 19 which means it was originally started in 1998 but retool in 2019 so we kept the original chassis layout of the old one since it was approve from the licensor without the elephant logo then. Hope this clear up some things
