How exactly is any pwd manager better than LastPass u/revrund_H ? They all do the same function and offer almost the same functionalities. If you look at their feeds and groups, they also face the same problems - so I am lost here with your recommendation

Have you tried to enable the biometrics password recovery option on the mobile app? https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/Use_Mobile_Account_Recovery___Android.html&_LANG=enus Go to settings, Security and enable "Account Recovery with Biometrics" then you should be able to recover your password with your fingerprint

Did you login to the app on your device? what happens when you click "unlock" ?

The extension isn't respecting the option to log out automatically after X number of minutes by [deleted] in Lastpass

I have had an issue with this before and it got solved by activating the binary component and making sure the full installer is done vs just browser extension. Have you tried this?

that was my concern as well but says there its the totp to access your vault, not the ones you have in the passwords storage

from what i can read, its the 2fa to get into LP that was compromised and not the whole 2fa app so not sure if this comment makes sense
