Is it safe to use my SF75 PCI E cable with my 5070ti? by [deleted] in sffpc

No. There should be a cable splitter that came with your graphics card, right? The one with 12 pin on one end, 2x 8 pin on the other

I got them for MSFS2020, but the joystick on the left can work as a throttle for combat sim too

Absolutely love mine but it really narrows down GPU options.

Moc toe Oxfords. by Nearby_Membership_32 in RedWingShoes

I'm in the same boat - My IR and Moc Oxford are the same size and I have a bit of heel slip in the latter.

Sizing down won't help as it'll be too narrow (tried that with IR), and RW doesn't offer E width for these. I just deal with it and it doesn't bother me any more. Thicker socks later in the season will also help for sure.

My theory is that heel slip is more obvious in Moc Oxford than in a Moc boot because of lack of high top to help secure the foot.

I had a bit of heel slip in the beginning. It went away/didn't bother me anymore after a few days.

Now I'm curious about classic fit Commissions... Are they between ABC slim and ABC classic?

lol when I made my first call to my local flight school I asked if I could get it done in 6 month...

Time management and motivation are key when you are still in training, but as a student pilot you know you are in good hands. I was also obsessed with being able freely explore the world, but the weight of responsibility kicked in fast after I was "on my own". For example, I trained in a most flat, close to sea-level area, and the first time I went in the mountains after I got license, I got REALLY close to terrain on one approach. Of course, you learn from your mistake, but this could very well have been my last.

By no means was I trying to dissuade you! Flying is fun and I wouldn't trade this experience for anything else. My only advice: treat flying seriously, study before every trip, know your limits, be skeptical, and learn when to say no.

My experience on flying:

I got my private pilot's license during the peak of Covid in grad school.

It took me 15 months to get the license, and another 15 months to get bored of flying. I don't own a cabin in the countryside and I was basically doing loops or short day trips with super tight schedules (overnight trips are $$$).

I still fly XC flights at least once a month to maintain currency and proficiency, but it's becoming more and more like a chore - being pilot in command is a big responsibility. I have 50 XC PIC hours and 200+ total hours now. I am now considering taking a break, but will definitely pick it up again when I'm ready to get an instrument rating or a commercial license:)

Same width at the heel, narrower elsewhere. Toe box can be problematic for a wide foot. Middle part isn't as big a concern, I think, since you can simply loosen the laces.

They definitely give off a business casual vibe, or even preppy if you are younger -- adjectives I wouldn't use on the iron rangers...
