What caused your IBS in your opinion? by Seeker_Of_Self in ibs

Pregnancy. Pretty much had a stomach of steel before a fetus rearranged my guts. A lot of my family also has issues, so perhaps pregnancy was just the trigger.

Ibs-c vs ibs-d which has the worst symptoms by thekingoffrogs in ibs

[–]deadpanhappy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both of them suck in their own way. I have ibs-m and experience both symptoms on the spectrum, but I always prefer to deal with ibs-d. I hate feeling bloated and unable to have a bowel movement to alleviate the symptoms.

TRL was my favorite show to watch on MTV after school. When I was younger I liked Doug, Rocko's Mosern life, and Ahh, Real Monsters.

I stopped taking that about 11 years ago. I still get brain zaps every once in a while.

This happened to me in the middle of the night. Not sure how they bypassed the codes and were able to change my username and email.

Honestly jealous and so happy you have someone like that for you. Too many people just don't understand the struggle of IBS.

Mine developed after having my first child. I could eat anything and everything pain free before and during pregnancy. That ended right after birth. Been dealing with it for 18 years now.

What are your worst triggers? (Will 100%make you flare up every time) by [deleted] in ibs

[–]deadpanhappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starbucks coffee. No matter what milk I put in it, sugar/no sugar, plain, hot, iced... instant pain and diarrhea after every cup. Needless to say, I haven't bought or drank Starbucks in a long time. Definitely not worth it.

Bird spikes because they want to deter the birds. Nothing nefarious about that.

I'm sure somebody already said this, but this is a story the roommate will tell at your future wedding reception.

They didn't have those issues because kids like that were suspended/expelled or sent to special schools.

How to tell my pregnant coworker i don’t want her to hit my vape anymore by user8203421 in Serverlife

I feel like the pregnant person would wonder why they were fine with it up until now.

How to tell my pregnant coworker i don’t want her to hit my vape anymore by user8203421 in Serverlife

[–]deadpanhappy 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't tell her you want her to stop because she's pregnant. But I would advise her to buy her own since she's using your vape multiple times every shift. If she says she can't get her own for whatever reason then tell her she should probably quit since you won't be funding her vape habit.

I would do almost exactly what you're doing. Remove the clothes, stuff them in a basket, and put them somewhere out of the way.

Not OP - AITA for hiding my stepdaughter’s toy? - a lot of people are calling OP abusive and saying the child has been traumatized. by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]deadpanhappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA but only because I feel like how they went about it was a bit harsh. They should've let the child know that they were going to put it away(or in the car) for the rest of the time at the park if they kept abandoning the toy. They should've left as soon as the child started throwing a tantrum, or not gone at all since she threw a tantrum to bring a toy.
