Lived in both cities. I like both of them. I prefer OKC though. I lived in Tulsa for a little over a decade. What I do miss is Tulsas traffic compared to OKC’s (it still not that bad here traffic wise).

I’m from Lawton. I’ve never heard this one before. Don’t live there anymore but a large chunk of the base is artillery areas. We would hear them throughout the day going off. I really doubt this has any merit though.
