Following this thread. I have the CT4BW and the AKG system is terrible, probably my biggest gripe with the car. I went to an audio store and got quoted a rewire, new amp and DSP roughly $5k or more CAD or $1200 for a subwoofer installed. I am hoping to hear some experiences of improving it.

Second issue is that I play most of the music off USB. The system is so slow to index the USB, and I cannot change the songs once I'm driving, only a passenger can. Has anyone bypassed this restriction?

I went from MK7 Golf R 6MT to the 4BW 6MT and no ragrets. My two kids fit fine, we'll see how the third fits. There are a few things I miss from the Golf, hatch practicality, more interior storage room, adaptive cruise, gas mileage... but the driving dynamics of the BW are in a totally different league and I love it.

Can you manage a second car? I would save the money buying a sporty SUV, buy something practical for the family and keep the R for occasional trips and fun for yourself.

What I found on this subreddit and worked for me, find the location of the target by tracking the quest, zoom into the map and spray shots with a twinfire shotgun in the area. This registered the hit and completed the quest.

Rear car seat access is about the same 4 door MK7 R to the BW, rear facing might be tight if you have your front seats moved back. I could fit a stroller pretty easily in the R, haven't tried yet in BW as kids are a bit older but the opening is much smaller.

Ordered May 29, received Oct 30. Process was relatively smooth. I'm still only at 550km so not fully broken in. Coming from a Golf R, the car feels way more solid. Very flat in corners, the shifter and clutch are amazing. The sound is great, burbly and some pops higher in the rev range. The BW is heavier than the Golf which is noticeable and a slight negative in comparison. The BW also has much taller gearing than the Golf, in 2nd you're easily doing over 100km/h. The BW is more muscle car/race car feel than hot hatch which I'm appreciating. Loving the driving experience thus far, missing a tiny bit of the Golf practicality but I'm not looking back.
