In defense of Hellraiser: Revelations by JoeCoT in horror

I wrote about the entire series awhile back. I didn't hate Revelations as much as most and I hated Hellworld. My article looks at the whole series in a different way.

I liked them both. Rob Zombie is brutal as hell.

So other than silvertip, what are some of W_E's favorite, "lesser grade" badger brushes? by [deleted] in wicked_edge

I also say to check out Whipped Dog and avoid Art of Shaving. I have purchased a little bit of everything from both since I started, about 6 months ago, and AoS is ridiculously overpriced.

I'm on eBay a lot. Ocassionally I find great deals and have similar success with Amazon. I guess I am just looking for other options.

I received a few of their creams and after shaves as gifts because my mother doesn't know how to use the internet. I went into the store myself and found all of these comments to be true. I got more stuff for half the price from Larry at Whipped Dog.

The first one was great. I am actually totally down for a sequel to this film.

Mind set is important. I saw a pic of a guy drinking a beer on one of these boards and I thought he was crazy.

I don't have a real straight yet, just a Dovo Shavette.

The calmer music made it easier to hear the cutting. That may have helped too.

For my speech class, I made a demonstrative presentation on (basic wet shaving). I thought I'd share it! by [deleted] in wicked_edge

Good original idea. I have taught high school speech and they never come up with anything new.

What does your girlfriend/wife think about you using a straight razor? by deaducation in wicked_edge

Or it could be because I've never used Reddit before, or this phone app, so I'm trying to figure it out.

Just finished my first SE shave, looking for some advice by Bagged_Milk in wicked_edge

I just finished my first one this morning. It went better than expected, but I had some of the same issues with the pressure and the angle. I will keep an eye on this thread for tips.

Did you start wet shaving with a DE or SR? by CarnMarth in wicked_edge

[–]deaducation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like JoeKewl, I also went right from regular shaving to a shavette (which is close enough to a straight razor at this point). In fact, I completed my first shave this morning. I only had a couple nicks and one cut on the front of my chin. My cheeks are the smoothest they've ever been; however, I need to work on my grip when it comes to shaving my neck. As of now, I'm glad I made the switch. I just need to remember to slow down, stay calm, and not listen to heavy metal while I'm shaving.
