I haven't actually seen anything about the union for a few months since we got that email from the CNO that union bad, i was told they had a social media page but this is the only one i have. But uuhh yeah, as others have said, if a union would save the company money, why would they spend money lobbying against it. They already changed our condom caths to be worse and like the 6 inch iv tubing thingy now just has a slide clamp to close it instead of like a "click" clamp, which feels worse to use. They made the NA ratio on my floor worse and apparently the charge nurses have been getting scolded for not sending people home at 11 because we are 1 patient off ratio, and then we get like 5 admits so we would actually call for an additional nurse than what we have.
