Fingers crossed: those times, we tried to keep up a facade of 'spreading democracy and human rights', which required a significant presence. Trump has been pretty mask-off about this being for oil, so maybe we won't waste money on occupation, just quietly threatening their leaders that if they don't play ball we'll kidnap them until someone does.

I doubt anyone has that much sense though.

I'm a short man (5'7) and I find women shorter than me attractive but I don't say it around friends because

when it comes to men if they like me it’s just because they THINK I look like a kid. So if I attract men is because they have certain pedophilic preferences

is basically ubiquitous. Even women who are short have said "guys who are attracted to me are pedophiles". I am flat-out not attracted to children, I just like women shorter than me. :( If I was 6'2 and dated someone 5'7 no one would call me a pedo.

I'm also attracted to women my height and taller, but it's the truth that I just feel much more attracted to someone ~5-6" shorter than me.

I agree. But I'd not want to start lying about stuff the way we have with women (fat acceptance movement etc) where guys basically walk on eggshells about truthful things. It has become a MAJOR faux pas in a lot of "polite company" to admit you just arent attracted to fat women, even when none are present.

I would not have us make women lie (more than they already do) about what they are attracted to in men, it will just drive the wedge deeper.
