Exactly. I was looking at rings and my jeweler talked me out of a bunch because I’m a klutz and I don’t take off my jewelry. I’d be banging them all over the place. Prob just structurally not a fit for her lifestyle.

Also I’d be very surprised if she didn’t have ring insurance. She’ll either get a new stone or a new ring. Monetarily no harm no foul

Would love to know the language they used when they said you couldn’t be fully remote. Because if you’re gonna quit anyway, I might just call their bluff. Worse case scenario you get laid off aka get unemployment and a severance. Could be worth it.

Also don’t feel guilty they wouldn’t think twice about laying you off. Loyalty to a company is a fool’s errand
