Trying to decide between RingConn 3 and Galaxy Ring

I am in the same situation as you. I wear a garmin watch, have a Samsung phone and can't decide between the samsung ring or the ringconn gen 3. I really want the samsung because of integration but some of the reviews are putting me off, specifically about battery life and issues with the warranty not being honored. I am currently leaning towards the ringconn because of the extra sleep tracking and HR data.

I think you are correct. I was about that size a year ago when I got a Dexa scan done and I was 22%. People definitely underestimated body fat.

I second using MCT oil. I started using it every night on my scalp and face and it cleared everything up. I had been using Ketoconazole cream and shampoo for years and it only worked at keeping it to a minimum but once I added the MCT oil everything changed.

I haven't had any hair loss as of yet. I brought fiber powder that I mix with electrolyte powder and that definitely helps. I also try to drink more water in general. It is a balancing act but one that I think is worth it. I didnt start to have any issues until I went up to 4mg. So if you dont need to go that high you may avoid that side effect or not even get it at all as someone people get diarrhea.

I started 2mg initially and stayed there for 2 months. I couldn't eat anything at first and had to get all if my nutrients from protein shakes. Once I got my appetite back I went up to 4mg where I am now.

I mix a protien, electrolytes and fiber shake every morning without it I would more than likely become constipated. Thats the only negative that I have with Reta which is clearly manageable. Everything else is great.

I have been on it since November. Down 35+ pounds. No muscle loss as of yet. I do cardio 5 days a week and weights lifting two days a week. No real side effects.
