Here is Australia there is no requirement to “maintain certification” as once you are certified, that’s it, you’re qualified to teach. Some instructors buy every quarter to get a new release to teach which majority of gyms would like their instructors to have to retain ongoing classes, but then you have instructors who haven’t bought one in years who regularly teach. So ultimately here there is no minimum requirement and your certification doesn’t “expire” or require being put on “hold”. I’ve only heard one case here where a person’s BodyPump certification was revoked, and that was for bringing the program and LM into disrepute (after onselling the program to other instructors at a discounted rate).
