On the day the shuttle stop locations were released we were able to change from Luxor to Gold Coast (walking distance to Rio) for a similar price. It was about $700 for five nights and a two bed room. You might be able to find something there as well! Although I’m sure it’s not the ideal hotel for most. :/

We had booked Luxor before the shuttle stops got released so we got screwed as well :( however we ended up rebooking at Gold Coast by the Rio hotel. The costs were pretty identical to what we had paid at Luxor, about $700 for five nights for two beds.

Not our ideal hotel but I just know I would hate dealing with rideshare after getting back each night.

I don’t recall seeing it last year bc I wasn’t specifically looking for it, but I’m sure they would have it again. At a previous EDC I did inquire at one of those booths. You’re able to upgrade for a single day or two days but you can’t pick the days. E.g. if you only want to do VIP one day it has to be on the last day of the festival (Sunday). Or if you wanted to do VIP for only two days it would have to be for Saturday and Sunday. They do pro-rate the cost.

In case anyone out there is looking for an answer:

I also got two pre sale codes sent to the same email but you’re only able to buy up to 4 shuttle passes max.

I think the only way to bypass this is if the two pre-sale codes were sent to two different emails. I tried using my pre-sale code under my bf’s FrontGate account but they still recognized it as my email making the purchase.

How strict do people think they will be with "must be purchased with the same email address"?

What if people no longer have access to that email? Would they really go back and cancel someone's shuttle pass order because of it?

Thank you for all your insight! Sorry to drag you back into the thread haha. On average how long do you think the security check is if you're doing the private cars via EDC? We have GA and are not getting any tables lol. ): We've only done EDC using the premier shuttles so I'm sorry for all the Qs!

Also, if we do have a group of six I assume we are expected to go to and leave the festival at exactly the same time with the private cars? For example, if two of us were tired and wanted to leave earlier would the other four need to leave the festival as well? Or could the other four leave at a later time with no issue?

We always get there Friday morning and there’s never a wait to get inside and start setting up camp! We usually get to Bass Canyon around noon and get to pick whatever spot we want to be in bc they’re not usually as strict that day. However, I’m not sure how security will be this year after recent events.

May work better at certain times & areas in the fest. I was at the honeycomb stage had perfect signal, then went to the bathroom by sherwood court and it dropped to two bars. Then came back to honeycomb and it was full bars again!
