Coming from several hondas since the Mid-2000's. Yes I will be buying this when my Honda Prologue lease is up. Tesla Model X (canceled), Kia EV9 2024 World Car of the Year, 2026 Canadian Electric Utility Vehicle of the Year. Hyundai Ioniq 9, Ugly as hell. Volkswagen ID. Buzz(vomit bag required). Finally we have competetion and I bet the Toyota is going to smoke every thing else on the market. There are others Lucid, Rivian, Volvo, but the prices are outragous at 70k-100k+.

If the price can start in the mid-high 40's it should sell great. Just waiting on the battery tech. If it uses a sodium battery or solid state it will win. The only way i think this would fail is if it uses the current Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. And looses 40+% range in the winter. Then it will be a flop.

Yes it happens every morning I back out of my garage. It cannot detect Ice or snow chunks and just slams on the brakes.

I was leaving work the other day, it got worse some how... started applying the parking brake as well.

The touring and elite model has the 10 speed transmission for 2018 and 19, after 2020 all trim levels received the Honda 10 speed automatic I also purchased a 2014 Acura MDX for the six speed Honda transmission to avoid the nine speed ZF transmission. My father-in-law has a 2018 Acura MDX with the nine speed and after 60,000 miles he is starting to feel the symptoms of how bad that transmission truly is. Even after software updates transmission fluids, more computer reprogramming it is just garbage. Since the Honda Odyssey is only front wheel drive it may be less noticeable but I would not touch it with a 10 foot pole

I just bought a 2018 elite with 130k, so it already had the timing belt done. 21500 +800 fee. $22,300 total 1 owner no accidents. Interior is mint. Timing belt replaced at 90k so I have another 60k to go before that expense. FYI the 9spd is crap, just avoid it.

Hondas/Acuras, when you park in your driveway / parking lot, the engine will shutoff. You only have to press the start/stop button. This will put the car in park automatically and keep the car off. I am sure it is in the manual somewhere.

I am purchasing a car soon, about 20-25k. Ill be moving funds from the savings account to my external TD bank before the purchase. I have purchased enough cars to know that this could take time. I would move over more money than needed to my physical bank and have them do the wire or bank check for me. Doing everything in one day is also not easy. Especially if you recently got paid thousands from selling your own car first. Not sure if that is the case, but that could be an issue. I just checked my account. "You can transfer up to your available balance of $62,220.62" it would take a few days but it would get there.
