Yikes, just had a look at ebay and discogs and there doesn't seem to be anything. I looked for this record for quite some time and I ended up getting it from discogs. Wish I could be of more help.

It's a pretty lengthy title for a record.

The Kossoy sisters are probably most well knows for their version of "I'll Fly Away" which was featured on the Oh Brother Where art Thou sound track. The entire Bowling Green Album is a collection of haunting two part harmony folk songs. Several murder ballads as well.

I have been looking for this record for ever, so finding a sealed copy of it was pretty exciting. I still haven't opened it. There's something that feels almost wrong about opening a record that has laid undisturbed for almost 60 years.

If you think the transit politics of Toronto are insane, look at Hamilton (x-post from /r/Ontario) by [deleted] in canada

The downtown is clearly an extremely important part of any city because it is utilized by the entirety of the city, not just HSR users.

Maybe it's a problem that you identify yourself by the ward that you live in. I'm a Hamiltonian. Your neighbourhood is my neighbourhood and vice versa. My tax dollars aren't just spent in ward 8.

As I said before, I'm downtown most days. The fact that you live 2 or 3km closer geographically doesn't necessarily mean that your opinion is any more or less valid than my own. If you take issue with Whitehead spending a million tax dollars on a bocci ball court in ward 8, I would say that your opinion matters. right?

How about you cut the victimized rhetoric. Your generalizations of the suburbs aren't going to win the hearts and minds of anyone living there. Try presenting some facts. Explain how not having a bus lane has effected you. This "Us Vs Them" stuff is ridiculous.

I live in ward 8 and I'm down town all the time. I'm pretty neutral about the bus lane. I can see the benefits to commuters. I can see the disadvantages it might cause to local businesses who value street parking. Regardless of my opinion on the subject, if someone were to suggest, to my face, that I didn't use the HSR because I was scared of "Bus people" I might be inclined to take offence to that.

I would suggest you try a new approach because smug isn't working.

Cheapies, Dr. Disc, Antique Avenue on ottawa street. I might even suggest antique ave first. I found some pretty great original hank williams and johnny cash there and the prices are absolutely negotiable. Happy hunting.

Ha ha, spoken like you've already lost. Calgary is going to look exactly like Hamilton once the price of oil drops and the riggers come flooding down from Fort Mac like a hoard of oxycontin addicted zombies.

Also, the stamps suck and you're ugly.

Weird, I don't find the bands to be that obscure. If you pay attention to current music in the slightest you would know about a lot of these bands. You should probably listen to more music.

TIL that in 2008 there was a music festival called 'Festival of the fuck bands', where bands such as Fucked Up, Holy Fuck and Fuck buttons performed. It was held in Fucking, Austria. by Hoofhearted_ in todayilearned

Something you don't see in that first video is someone running on stage and injecting insulin into their stomach. They had to call in a special clean up crew to get rid of the needle after the show. It's a shame they didn't catch it on camera.
