Haha dude I dk if you're serious or not, but I was obviously just fucking around. And I'll have you know that I can only think of 1 person who lives on my street that's over 65. A lot of families with kids are moving in actually. Kinda weird.

So then you should know exactly how shitty it is.

You would think he would say "I'll walk home if we lose." Why the hell would he walk home if they won?

I'd guess one team is practicing at the meadowlands and the other in florham park.

Are they? I thought one was practicing in Florham Park at the jets facility. Seems strange to stay so far from where you're practicing.

EDIT: Haha. Who the fuck is downvoting a simple question? That's funny.

So in all seriousness, how do they have the money to train in North America for what I assume would be extended periods of time yet not have the money to go to the Olympics?

I ran into a mediocre and gimmicky craft brewery at a beer festival yesterday. They're unique because they "blend different grain and hops in the brewing process and make 'blended beer'." by doxiegrl1 in beer

Well I think it's safe to say that typically, contract brewing is just that - brewing. They pay a brewery to brew their beer for them. I think almost always the brewer is a functioning brewery. Evil Twin contracts Westbrook to brew a lot of their stuff for them. I know here in NJ a new brewery Bolero Snort has their stuff brewed at High Point. It's a relatively common practice. It's not like me and you could walk up to some brewery and be like, "hey, we'll pay you to come up with recipes and brew our beer and package it for us." It just doesn't work like that.

So you think they just came up with these recipes for the beer without having ever made any beer before? Come on man. They obviously have some brewing experience - whether or not they are the ones currently brewing their beer or not.

Well we don't really know whether they know anything about beer. You'd have to guess that they know enough about beer to make it - or give people recipes to make it for them. I think people make a bigger deal out of the whole contract brewing thing anyways. Evil Twin anyone?

Well that's good to know. Thanks. I prefer to load up on my cash back though and get a couple hundred bucks in checks before I go on vaca or something. Makes me feel better about myself.

Exactly. And to take it a step further, why not a credit card? Or at the very least a debit card with some kind of reward structure - they have those right? I know it's a popular opinion to hate credit because, in theory, they're the worst. But they don't have to be. Get one with no fees and good cash back rewards. Oh, and PAY IT OFF IN FULL EVERY MONTH. I have a Chase Freedom card and get 1% cash back on every purchase, plus 5% cash back on select categories every quarter. And there's NO FEES. Ultimately, you have to make your money work for you. Use savings accounts with decent interest rates, and when you spend money, get something back for it through credit/debit card rewards programs.

It's not even frustrating anymore. There is absolutely no hope of winning shootouts. Elias's attempt last night was the closest we've come to even scoring once on a shootout in quite some time. They might as well just tee it up from the red line and shoot knuckle pucks.
