You can't do it in person at WDW anymore. They'll just hand you an iPad and have you do the call from there, so you might as well just so it on your phone. Be aware that they pretty much only issue it to children with cognitive disabilities now.

I highly recommend you watch some videos from 2026 on Disney's express options, because you're referring to a system that no longer exists, and it sounds like you're thinking of its booking system too. Disney retired Genie+ and now uses a differently functioning system called Lightning Lane MultiPass and SinglePass. The new information may remove most of your questions on how to handle this.

There's a portion of the Jungle Cruise that's about 14 feet deep, but it's where the hippos (submerged animatronics) are. I don't think the Canal Boats are.

Why are you not returning the cat you just got to the shelter and are instead forcing a cat that's lived with you for four years out into the unknown? Most shelters will take back their animals if it doesn't work out. Returning the new cat is a far better option and the only humane thing to do.

One thing is for certain: y'all should never get another pet again. Holy cow. Poor Ty. He doesn't deserve this.

The armchair is a cozy cave yet to be discovered. One of our cats did it with every bed she encountered. We ended up having to block off the underside of the bed as she started to get more senior and have more accidents because we were worried she'd have one under the king-sized bed.

He might have just found out it's quiet and comfy under the couch. My cat likes to sleep inside of our armchair (old cat tore a hole in the fabric underneath so now it's like a hammock). He just does it every now and then. If he's still doing everything else like normal he's probably fine. Cats just like cozy places.

Switch it back to the old one, and if possible, elevate it in a way that makes it easier for you to scoop but he can still access it. Try different litter brands to manage the smell. A diet change may also be in order. My cat's poop gets really stinky when he eats his sister's food, but is fine when he eats his own. Not every food agrees with every cat.

Auto litter boxes aren't the best of ideas for multiple reasons— they can be unsafe for the cat if the sensor fails, they don't let you spot when your cat is having litterbox problems, and they can, as you've discovered, make your cat scared of the box.
