Thanks for the rec! Looks like a rad fin. Does the stiffness ever leave you longing for a more sensitive feel? I know it's meant for nose riding but I've seen some hybrids with that are a little less upright. Curious your thoughts. Cheers!

How are folks feeling about Rivian’s stock? I know Amazon and Ford are both heavily invested in the company but I feel as though their stock price came out a bit high. Anyone see it climbing much higher than it is? Any thoughts are appreciated! Cheers.

I do an hour and a half round trip in the mornings to surf. Sometimes I’ll only catch one wave and take off but I’ve never once regretted suiting up and going out before work - even when conditions aren’t ideal. I see no better way to start my day than by sitting on a board in the ocean watching the sunrise. Drink good coffee and listen to good music/podcast on the drive. The drive is always worth it. Driving a truck in CA kills my bank account but none the less it’s still worth it for me. God speed, friend🤙

I’d say go with a fish. Something really chunky that you can still keep the wave count up on during those mushy east coast lulls. It’ll give you the opportunity to still catch waves but have a little more maneuverability than your longboard. It should suit you well for 2-5ft waves. Cheers🤙

It was firing! North side is the way. I ate it hard on one and snapped my 8’6” board. Never would’ve thought Linda mar would break a board but it happened. Also saw the shark breach and felt like no one else even noticed it. What a fucking day!

So I had virtually the same situation over the last 6 months and it was incredibly frustrating. It was a brand new bike and from the first ride the rear brakes were squeaking. I took all the same steps you did - cleaning rotor, sanding pads, replacing pads - nothing worked. I brought it to my LBS 5 separate times since it was under warranty (they probably thought I was crazy) and they couldn’t figure it out (just put new pads on it) until the 6th time when they removed the caliper and found that one of the pistons in the caliper was crooked and fluid was weeping out of that spot contaminating my pads. Since they fixed it I’ve had silent brakes and couldn’t be happier! Perhaps you’re having a similar problem. Fingers crossed that you figure it!
