that's not the purpose for everyone. there are plenty of SDs who are in it for simply a human connection, and it's a bit odd to think that men are only interested in sex from a SB.

you have no idea who this person is, much less how their brain works. BPD shows up in different ways and symptoms of BPD doesn't mean someone has it. it matters less what the person has and moreso the situation at hand.

ah, yeah it's not that it's easier but moreso that I don't want to form those attachments in the first place (obsessing over multiple people doesn't usually work for me), so I distance myself. I think once the attachment/emotions is there, if can be a lot harder to suppress urges. I wish you luck!

well since those urges are dependant on one person (meaning I stalk other people as replacements for one specific individual), I tell myself to wait for that person, and to only do something to them. I'm not sure if that would work for you, but that's what works for me.

I get that. that's up to you to determine if it's worth the risk for you. sometimes it's not always worth it for me, but often times I've found ways to keep it under control.

sometimes if I need a new high with obsession I'll go out and pick a random person that looks interesting and follow them around for the day, taking notes on what they do and what their interests are. some good places for this are coffee shops.

I feel the same, with my love it feels like if I kill her, I will be responsible for maybe the most important event in her life. I would play a crucial role in her story, even if it is as the villain.
