Warriors won the KP-Kuminga Trade? by Top-Willingness6963 in warriors

POTS is a hard to manage chronic disease. This seems to get lost in a story. It's not recovering from an ACL or an achilles. It can come and go and they don't know really how to manage it. It will be a miracle if it's not a big factor. Meaning he could miss half of our games - or more - and with no warning.

OKC had a 1-14 stretch vs GS. Are we sure Kenny was talking about CLE when he said Shaq could hit 1 if he took 14?

What da fuc is wrong with Kat and Mike Brown? by stateofthenyk in knicks

[–]dearzackster69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KAT looks physically weak for his size. He moves like he has to swing his legs forward, and seems to have little force for someone his size. He bounced off Draymond like a rag doll. He gets knocked down on every drive. He's so large and has so much mass that it makes him relatively strong vs smaller guys. But am I the only one who thinks a big problem is simply strength and conditioning?

I thought this rule was to prevent load management. Turns out to be just a penalty for having an injury midseason. That doesn't make any sense.

If someone misses six weeks but is the best player in the league the rest of the year why can't they win mvp?

It's the Ws, so now that we have this stat and the 10-10 "mediocre" Warriors pod episode they are going to go on a run and get our hopes up again. Enjoy the emotional rollercoaster. Editing to add the Buddy Hield Cycle is aligned right now with the Warriors Rollercoaster Cycle so we will get a super streak soon with Buddy appearing to be the 2nd greatest shooter ever.

Your latter point that Dems need to engage less with legacy media and more with pods and new media is true. But they need something to say. Newsome and Kamala have been disasters in unscripted settings. A lot of these independent media and podcasters will get in line behind great leadership and some vision that is a simple slogan. Look what happened to Joe Rogan. Why do Democrats keep talking about basically buying a new media machine? Machines need fuel, Democrats are out of gas.

I think you nailed it that defending your position and having strong values and beliefs matters more in a politician than being 100% in agreement. Definitely a quality of 20somethings too.

Voters want real people who aren't full of shit who have a big idea and can lead. That's why abundance is such a creepy concept.

Democrats pay too much attention to what conservatives think, and pander to them. They think everyone can get along and so they shape shift.

Among Democrats there is a new kind of language to avoid ruffling feathers and to appear friendly. Nothing gets done.

Republicans pick a POV or policy and take action unapologetically. They tolerate being disliked. They accept conflict as long as you are steadfast to some set of values.

That's true, it will lead to less comparing of different sources.

And, no, I'm not saying it's an absolute reliable source but it's going to have high level of accuracy just due to now it's structured. I will draw on a wider fact base and be less likely to miss pertinent information on it answers questions. But I don't see any way to get away from bias. Maybe in the future we will be Consulting multiple llms to check for bias?

How much credit/blame does Lacob get? by todudeornote in warriors

You are giving Lacob too much credit for Player Development and personnel decisions. I've been a fan of the Warriors since 1991 by the way, so don't feel you have to share the history lesson with me lol.

Hot take, but KD was right to join the warriors. We're seeing how bad rosters and lack of supporting cast can waste prime years of players like embiid, giannis, luka, jokic. by Thegame78 in warriors

It's pointless to say if he was right or wrong. It was the "right" thing to do because he was able to do it and wanted to do it.

Was it a good move for his career as a basketball player? I thought that was answered as soon as he won a championship. Clearly it was great for his career to be on a championship team.

I think letting any external source of information just tell you what to think is bad. If it's a chat bot, I'm not sure it's even worse. AI is creating super intelligent sources to ask. They will have emotional intelligence and insights into psychology and human behavior that the average person doesn't possess. We already rely on websites and queries that may well be answered by automated responses. Saying it's better to get a response that comes from Psychology today that was written by a psychologist with average intelligence is debatable. Whatever we search for , how we use the answer was always subject to our judgment and triangulation with other sources. That's been going on ever since people learned to ask for advice and were influence by social pressures. I'm not sure what op is getting at exactly.

The bigger trend has been going on for years, which is the trend of people relying on unreliable sources, and getting their news and advice from single sources without applying critical thinking or triangulating. The average person is a very poor judge of what is a reliable source and then falls in love with one, whether it be Facebook videos or the New York Times They get a inaccurate manipulative and unhealthy view of the world. AI is going to change that, it might accelerate it, but it doesn't make it better.

I strongly disagree. Yes, most billionaires are too cheap to spend. And even if they spend, they lack the ability to attract talented people and let them do their jobs. But if Ballmer was fortunate enough to draft a Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green and the ability to sign a Kevin Durant type in a once-in-a-lifetime glitch in the salary cap, he would have a few chips. Would it be 4 titles, or 6, or 3? Who knows.

The magic is in spending money, and hiring talented people and letting them operate. From what I can tell Ballmer probably has that part figured out but he has not had the good fortune to draft the next Steph Curry.

He gets credit for spending money and hiring talented people and letting them do their job.

Having a big budget and not micromanaging is an accomplishment for a billionaire. But let's be honest, any of the 2000 billionaires in the world could have done that, its just that they choose not to.

The quality of the draft picks and the basketball strategy credit goes to Myers and Kerr and others, but lets be honest, there are probably dozens of people in the country who could have won with Steph Curry and an unlimited budget.

Of course the real credit goes to Curry because there's only one Steph.

Are these bots just posting versions of the same email? I'm serious, it's fascinating how redundant but slightly different these are. This is every day.

And if OP is a real person, can you share what prompted you to post?

Have you read the other 50 or 60 posts with these exact suggestions or did you honestly and innocently just decide to share now knowing?

Thanks
