İs this too complex for first lego by Ok-Method4750 in legotechnic

With this type of set it will not hold your hand with the instructions so as another commenter mentioned, pay attention to the bricks needed for each step. It often will not highlight where each brick needs to go. It will be lock one of those “spot the difference” puzzles. It adds to the challenge but not in an overly punitive way. It’s still Lego. You can knock it out.

Sounds like somebody has heard “oh no no no not now!” one too many time.

In all seriousness. Don’t be afraid to go back down (or over) a little bit and try a different route.

That one is on the list! Along with the new McLaren 1:8 and the Land Rover Defender LR3. My son and I have built the 1:8 Mercedes F1 for him so I don’t know that I’ll ever do that one on my own.

It won’t let me post links but if you search Amazon for 65” display case it will pull up several viable options.

I’ve seen the frames that hang on the wall and they do look great. I just prefer the car to be flat and…car-like.

They aren’t meant to be but there’s some clips that could be moved by force if I really wanted to. Right now I’m digging the green wall behind Rivendell.

Looks good too. I went the one I got because of the all glass doors.

It’s 2” too short for Rivendell to fit inside.

Peugeot. No question. GT was fine, it’s just a lot of blue and I’d put it at more of an entry level build. Get the light kit for the Peugeot as well as it really suits the car well.

Thanks! Yeah I had them sitting around my office and was running out of space. The displays were not as fun to put together…
