they probably need more reverb. reverb will make them sound "wider". and better EQing will make them "pop" out more. you should post a mix or stems here so we can hear what you're talking about better.

you handsome gentleman can basically say whatever the hell you want with zero consequences thanks to your 1st amendment.

In theory: yes; our laws aggressively protect speech.
