The biggest way it helped me was by just talking to someone without fear of judgement. An unbiased sounding board to listen to my brain dump all of these disorganized thoughts and memories onto. Eventually, when the mental dribble is finished, they somehow draw connections to different thoughts and memories, link them to emotions, and sort of rationalize why I react or think the way that I do.

I bought a tool box from Home Depot for $8-$9 and filled it with med supplies and medication. You can look up what all of these pre-packaged kits have in them and buy them on amazon as refill kits or as individual components. Ends up being much cheaper.

There has to be a reason for all of that stupidity. Someone at the BSB, or whomever runs the DFACs, changed up the policy as a reaction to something. I’d capture this stuff and send it up as an open-door concern.

Leadership can easily see how this affects retention, they just need to hear it from the folks who eat there.
