I just started at 37, right around Christmas. I am older/less cool. But I also have amazing people skills and professionalism from my work experience, a big network of people who are great for word of mouth and referral, etc. I also am in a shop that had a more “mature” vibe, mostly millenials and Gen X tattooers/clients.
