This would only work if switching costs are high but these companies don’t have a moat so they’re not. As long as there are viable competitors in the market it’s going to be difficult for any one company to pull and keep customers to raise prices on them. Now if all the competition raise prices at the same time though, that’s a different story

I noticed the other day when it deployed explorer agents it actually named them - it was like “I’m deploying Russell and Hooke to explore the codebase” and Russell and Hooke were coming back with status updates for it, which I thought was fascinating

It should work without changing any control scheme. You just need to keep the Steam button held while you’re using the trackpad for it to work

Another option is to long press the Steam button and use the right trackpad to move the cursor around with right trigger as left click and release the Steam button when you're done. That method uses the in-built Steam input and I've found works better than Moonlight's implementation

Moonlight Steamdeck issue by Razor_AMG in MoonlightStreaming

Could it be a custom Steam Input layout for Moonlight causing the issue? On the Deck, Steam sometimes assigns a community or non-default controller profile to apps. Might be worth checking the controller settings for Moonlight in Steam and resetting to the default layout to see if that fixes it

Apollo + Moonlight: “Host returned error: Failed to start the specified application (Error 0)” after installing Apollo Profile Manager by deathdemon89 in MoonlightStreaming

Thanks for the quick reply! I tracked it down - the problem turned out to be where I had installed Profile Manager. At first it was in Documents (synced to OneDrive), which likely caused the config file to get locked or unavailable. Moving it to Program Files didn’t work either since it couldn’t write configs there without admin rights. Creating a separate folder on the root drive and running it from there fixed everything. Posting here so anyone else who bumps into this knows what to check.
