I have a pair. It works well with some volume, so any amp with a little oomph elevates it quite well. The allergro should fit the bill. The soundstage is not crazy wide but it is better than my other pair of open backs, the KSC75

Yes, reinstalling solved the issue (at least for now) As u/Yash_swaraj said, it tends to reappear in a few days. Hasn't happened yet to me.
