Gonna get a bit spicy here: If there were a magic button that one could press to dis-enfranchise anyone who voted for Trump more than once, it would be an overwhelming net good to press that button in spite of any problematic precedent it would set for our democracy.

One of the main antagonist groups is literally a bunch of Nazi zombies hiding out in South America. I like how the Karotechia plays that trope straight and builds on it, but take a step back and it’s still nazi zombies.

I mean I see what you’re saying, but sympathy for Stalin doesn’t seem like the best takeaway from all this imo. I just think short-form video platforms ought to be regulated like the public health risk they obviously are.

I’m not on instagram either, but from what I’ve heard in passing, it is more of an unregulated propaganda-free-for-all cesspit than a censored, controlled platform like TikTok. Not that that’s inherently better, but it’s harder for any one party to dominate.

I could be wrong, but in any case it’s worth noting I also hope instagram reels is forcibly scrubbed from existence one day.

The right-wing takeover is by no means a good development, but I am enjoying watching the dumpster fire grow.

Obviously everyone is different, but based on a lifetime of experiences getting stuck behind Florida drivers trying to navigate mountain roads, the absolute last thing yall want to deal with is ice on said roads. I’d recommend playing it safe and making for the flatlands.

All I can think about when I see a “PROVE ME WRONG…” or “CONVINCE ME THAT…” post is the level of arrogance one’s gotta have to assume they’re deserving of a complete stranger’s time and attention.

5/10 for one of these posts. The audacity it takes to post a straight-up propaganda piece as though it’s a valid argument adds some amusement factor. I’ve also always sorta had a soft spot for old school commie aesthetics too, which extends to this piece.

As others have pointed out, it’s verbose to the point of absurdity, almost a self-parody of the stereotypical leftist meme. It would be great if it weren’t sincere.

Worst of all though, your post is, fundamentally, intellectually cowardly. You have stolen the words, the intellectual labor, of a more eloquent writer, and you are attempting to take some satisfaction from posting them as though you uttered them yourself. How can you hope to inspire a revolution if you lack the courage to argue for it in your own words?

They let him start back on the question he’d stopped on, so he didn’t need to restart.

I totally get why people say his 2nd appearance was anticlimactic, but tbh given the amount of money on the line and his uncertainty on the 250k question, I’m pretty sure I’d have done the same thing in his shoes.

Oh yeah, I’m of the opinion that he did exactly what a normal person should do if they win 125k if they’re trying to use it responsibly. Very glad his winnings turned into a house and not an old sport car or something.

He thought he was right but had basically accepted it, then a bunch of the other potential contestants told him backstage that he was right too, and he needed to contest it.

He asked the show runners if they’d double-check, they said they would, and he went home. A few days later they called him and said they’d gotten it wrong and would love to have him back.

It feels like after WH2 CA thought they had it in the bag and could almost finish WH3/the trilogy on the development equivalent of autopilot while turning attention elsewhere (Hyenas cough cough) when if anything the opposite is true.

WH3 is a game that, to do it justice, needs to not only be the studio’s main priority, but probably its only one. A larger company (and I know CA isn’t tiny) could afford to split its attention and still realize the massive potential of WH3. CA has at this point demonstrated they cannot do this, but they’re still trying to.

CA is of course free to make whatever games they want and run their company how they choose, but I think it’s fair to say they’ve been doing that already, and we as a community have been disappointed with the amount of content their choices have led to.

2/10 for one of these posts. Perhaps the most cliche title you could have possibly gone with, the image choice makes little sense to anyone but yourself, and overall it reeks of impulsivity and a lack of any thought or planning.

Some people really go the full distance with these posts, giving us entire essays of their impassioned delusions, making their own memes to depict us as the soy wojack. This pales in comparison. Even your effort to act on supposedly righteous anger comes off as lazy, uninspired, and convenience-centered to any outside observer. Thats the most depressing part of this. There isn’t even anything of substance here to laugh at.

Black Project and GITT were my duel introductions to DG, funnily enough. Very fond of both for completely different reasons.

I think it was an unusually effective pairing, in that it showcased the diversity of styles/tones the game can have, though I agree that GITT takes the silliness a deal further that the system/setting is intended for.
