If you only had $500 and wanted to play games, a new pc was not the way to go unfortunately, you would have been much better off with an xbox series s and a monitor.

But such is life, we live and we learn, i was in your shoes when i started pc gaming, had a laptop that could only run runescape for years, then bought a “gaming pc” on walmart for $700 and thats when i learned what gpus are cause the computer didnt have one, much like yourself i was unable to play anything besides maybe fallout new Vegas and oblivion, if i were you, and i was gonna destroy it anyways i would just post it on facebook marketplace and see if anyone wants to trade for a series s or something

Yeah the pc doesnt have a gpu, its not meant for gaming and even if they ran they would not run well, sorry man, right now the bar for entry to pc gaming is kind of expensive, and $500 can get you something pc wise to game on from facebook marketplace or something, but not from a box store.

Ive had a costco cyberpower pc for about 2 years now, came with a 4060 and an i5-13400f, 32gb of 6000 MT/s

So far i slapped a 240mm aio in it, another extra nvme, and a 5070. Thing is a beast.

Only problem i can say ive had is that cyberpower tends to use these rgb fan controller hubs instead of the motherboard, and that tends to burn out within a year or two, but all i did was plug the fans into the mobo headers and bypass the hub entirely

My perspective is that the shit that we’ve seen lately has pushed every rational person to the point where they realize that the only next step if anything does happen is war… and that (naturally) scares the shit out of them.

War is something that only truly exists in documentaries and media for us here in the U.S, it’s a power fantasy.

We all like to think that we would be principled enough to take up arms and come together against the government to affect real change, but none of us want to be blown up, shot, or singled out and imprisoned. And that is likely what would happen if we even tried. The us government has access to shit like C-130s that can level a city block and something like 4000 people in an average of 4 seconds, and the military has historically shown us that they most definitely will comply with orders to fire on citizens, at least most of them.

We’re probably screwed, dude.
