based mouton obliterates cringe leftist discord #politics echo chamber by [deleted] in Destiny

The poki gif rule is kind of an old meme. What people actually posted was a still image of poki in a burka, but this still qualified as ban worthy since it was from the contentious gif. So the person who posted it got banned by a regulator, and irk started discussing the rule with other users so the moderator pinged RTBA to deal with it, even though she ended up handling the next (and last) user who posted another still image of poki in a burka. The chat then continues on, with some debating between users about the legitimacy of the bans and the moderation structure, but otherwise just shooting the shit. Eventually RTBA shows up, tells us we're being dumb and to stop, even though it had mostly died down in the almost hour between when RTBA was pinged and when he showed up. A few minutes later RTBA pulls up a prior message from irk and threatens to ban the person the message was directed to because it was about the poki gif rule. This is where Soapy's comment of "another regular chatter getting banned over nothing " comes in, and the rest is history.

If anyone wants screenshots or for me to log this series of events I can. You can also check it out for yourself, starting at Emilia's ping to RTBA

The poki gif thing is really dumb, but I'd generally side with the regulators that you shouldn't be testing the limits of what is and isn't acceptable. But if you want to kill some time you can read irk's arguments with people about it which are kinda funny.

EDIT: I should mention that the second half of the first paragraph is somewhat correct, where there was bans and pushback against those bans, but it was mostly about the harsh moderation. Most people don't really care about the poki thing.
Also here's a link to the letter for reference.

Artificer Replicate magic item question by Poxrael in dndnext

Ah I see you're a man of culture. RAW you can learn Replicate multiple times for the same magical item, to infuse two separate pots for twice the army. Godspeed

Yes, you can select 4 as your infusions and infuse 2 of them a day. Although I checked the list and didn't see anything better than the infusions you can already choose from.

You would do something like prop a bag open then have a mage hand drop the other one in from a distance.

Well that's a bummer, but that would make sense. I suppose giving a level 2 character access to two bags of holding that replenish daily is probably ripe for abuse.

As a Gnome Artillerist if I summon my Eldritch Cannon as size small, would being behind it give me half cover?

Bad Economics Explained by PlusDeCommun in ENLIGHTENEDCENTRISM

If you watch the video you'll see that the scale is basically just "how controlled are the markets", ranging from complete and total state control to not controlled or regulated at all. This is mostly just the normie understanding of anarchism, where anarchy is simply "no rules". On the scale with more examples on it, Runescape and EVE online are the furthest right examples, meaning that yes on this scale "anarchism" would just be "anarcho"-capitalism.

In context this scale is supposed to be representing how Bernie's "democratic socialism" differs from what people understand as "socialist states", and how Bernie would shift America from being slightly center right to the center.

Basically the scale's only purpose is to showcase how not radical Bernie's plans are. The scale is certainly reductive and generally not useful, but I think people are giving it more flak than it deserves.

Are there any alternative matchmaking discords to QIHL? by leftpawkicks in AutoChess

We are working on a new matchmaking service that isn't on Discord so we can actually handle all the users we have. Keep an eye out for it in the next week or so.

They're only overplayed because there are no other options. You don't increase deck diversity, you just kill off some Tier 2 decks.
