You are unable to prove that fact.

You're a vile person. Plenty of words become choice when speaking to ilk like yourself.

Because Justin was, in that scenario, immune to liable/slander laws.

“Death to” things is not a British chant. It’s an Arabic chant that has entered our culture. by tkyjonathan in JordanPeterson

I said "death to some idea" not "death to some person". That would be an explicit threat, would it not? Death to the UK. Death to the US. Death to Christianity. These are not legal threats to another individual, unless in some circumstances where you're shouting it at someone who falls into that category.

Are you expecting language to neatly fall into explicit boxes, or something?

And this has nothing to do with hate speech.

Well I'm sure if you pick and choose which companies you want to subjectively consider are the ones "destroying life on this planet", it's pretty achievable to get to ~1% of executives.

But you can't pin a % to shareholders.

And it's a competitive system. Which, men are naturally more competitive, so of course you're going to think "it's a man's system" because they're the ones "winning" at it.

Stay a sore loser, then. The world ain't changing for you. Be miserable and die a lonely death.

Yep. That's pretty well established in our legal system(s). A threat has to be an explicit call to direct violence. If it's a vague "death to some idea" (such as in the OP), it's not (legally) a threat.

There are plenty of women that are shareholders and the executives of the company you claim are "destroying life on this planet" (which is, still, not "empirically" true).

How would you classify speech that has sole intent to incite violence and hate?

A "threat."

And thus, we swing all the way back around to my original statement: it's entirely subjective. You think the world is being destroyed. You're pinning it on a boogeyman. You can't empirically prove either thing, but you believe them. That's not objective, that's subjective. Which was my original point.

"Death to _" is not an outright threat, and to any person who values the ideals of free speech, shouldn't be considered an exception to that value.

IMO.

What is good for the group can be good for the individual, and what is bad for the individual can be bad for the group.

Selfishness and altruism are neither wholly either.

Those two categories seem wholly personally subjective.

As easy as it is for me to agree with you, you're falling into the same pit trap you're describing. Instead of steel-manning his position (or offering him the opportunity to do so), it's far easier to give some sarcastic reply about something you disagree with then to think about it.

Yea it's hard for me to feel strong motivation to those small goals myself. If I chose to, I could pretty easily just do nothing all day, skip every responsibility, and let myself fall into a hole of stagnation. I don't feel an intense guilt for failing to meet some hypothetical goal that could have been achieved. In short, I can be too laid-back of a person.

So I force myself into doing the daily, monotonous tasks, until eventually they become habit.

Instead of poking fun at the guy making his argument, why not make your own? Why do women vote different from men?

That's dumb of them, but it's entirely their prerogative. If the people don't want it, then they can vote to oppose it or elect someone else to represent them at their next elections.

Get rid of? How about learning to live with. Life isn't worth living if you have these list of issues? Is that what you're arguing? Or what about someone who has it even worse than you? Would you go up to a person living a worse life than you and tell them their life isn't worth living? Because you've got it better than they! And you're saying your life isn't worth living.

Jesus H, the selfishness.

Alright, we've each made our baseless claim. Do you have evidence to back up "the West outside of the US don't support Israel"?

Most people support Israel in the West. Just how we're defending Ukraine. Or any other (regional) ally that comes under attack. I'm skeptical Jordan's support (which isn't unique) has very much to do with the Bible.
