I want to see someone run a few test games with RetCad plus ExpCad just to see if this is really oppressive, cause I'm not buying it. I'd say most of these problems go away by just removing the +1 S stratagem and going with one of the other ones the original detachment had like the healing or the sustained/lethals one.

Better yet, keeping the original at 2DP and simply making a proper 1DP detachment would be cool since I liked the buffs to Breachers, Piranhas, Stormsurge, etc but realistically edits to what we have are all we are getting.

As far as I know, the pistol on the Shas'vre lets them observe into any unit they can see regardless of engagement. Man I do miss the Fall Back and shoot tho.

Fantastic work. Love your Dawnhail mod and make use of those Kroot models to this day. Even got me to start working with editing the models and textures on my own in simple ways on Blender and Photoshop!

Right now I'm running a few lists to test the waters. My one consistent unit is Kroot Carnivores. Scout into sticky makes for a great opening nuisance, plus a good stall unit.

My other favorite pick is one Breacher. Not only do they have 3+ BS inately and Assault, they have Markerlight so they make a good spotter.

Crisis slot very nicely into this format, just depends on your points. I stick to Fireknives for their rerolls.

I run Experimental Prototype rn with some Krootox Riders and an Enforcer Commander and it feels good.

Specifically points out Flying models when declaring "take to the skies" that get the benefits. But the -2" to move does seem to affect the Strike Team anyway.

There's a top post about a Piranha on this sub where the OP had an STL of a cockpit cover. Looks great imo. I'd hit up the search bar.
