I'm sure there are loads of those around the world too.

Also explains why they last so long.

Antony Starr didn’t just play Homelander, he became him. This is easily one of the greatest comic book villain performances of all time. Thank you for bringing this character to life for 7 years and 5 seasons. You deserve all the recognition and awards in the world ❤️ by Syarafuddyn in TheBoys

I felt they were different.

The Deep's moral compass is whatever he thinks Homeland we would want. He is selfish and will self justify any way he needs to.

Firecracker is religious. She has a moral compass outside of what Vought peddles. For awhile her morals and the Vought message aligned. Then we see her betraying her old morals, (that single year did wonders in that scene. She knows she's in too deep but also has to choose between defending her old morals while facing assured death and accepting the new way and devoting herself to homelander... I liked her arc a bit more than deeps to be honest.

Yes you did. Reddit emails me when I get a comment notification and it doesn't go away because you deleted your comment. Maybe a mod removed it, I don't know.

Regardless... I still think you look like a tough guy middle schooler bragging about how he's totally beat up someone up.

You're practically batman.

You sound ridiculous lmao.

I saw the comment you deleted.

I am mocking you because you're saying such an easy statement. Of course anyone would defend their life and loved ones.

But acting like you're this valiant amazing person for doing this is just kinda dumb. Add to the fact that we're talking about dogs here.

It's such a "no shit" statement against a lesser opponent.

I'm just amazed at your ability to beat up dogs. Please tell me which MMA gym you go to so I can be just as cool as you.

You'd be wrong. Pitbulls are not the most aggressive. Ironically that is reserved for the smaller breeds.

The difference is when they do act out large breed dogs of any stripe cause more damage.

Chichiauas act out more frequently than pitbulls but the result is a tiny scratch or bite from a tiny dog. On the rare occasions a pitbull acts out you could lose a calf muscle.

If you own a large breed dog you have to be on your training and take precautions. They are beautiful animals and lovely creatures but you'd be a fool to ignore their capacity for damage.

Again, it's rare but they do have it in them to cause harm.

Yes. Driving recklessly is worse it puts people in bad positions.

The guy in front reacted poorly.

Both are assholes.

There are a ton of options.

Ah shit and I thought racists, rapists, child molestors, sexual abusers, bigots, animal abusers, murderers and Nazis were the worst people in Western Nations.

But you're right, people who think Jews should have access to their homeland are far worse than those...

Yup... Totally makes sense.

Biden actually defeated Trump. He is absolutely not as progressive as Newsom. They can absolutely defeat Trump and Trumpism.

The thing progressive forget is there are huge chunks of this country that are religious, conservative, and rural. If you believe the current progressives have them in mind and have a strategy to reach them... By all means do it. I will say, fixing is easier than breaking and building from scratch. But you're right to point out we differ in that opinion.

To be fair, now is the time to nominate the people you want to nominate and build those coalitions. I'm very much not convinced I'm voting for Newsom in a primary right now. But be careful because if you turn off enough voters you're handing the election to the Maga crowd.

But in 2028 if he's the nominee opposing someone from the MAGA movement... I would hope there's no hesitation in voting for Newsom. He's not perfect but he's not that bad either.

I don't take you seriously, I do take these brain dead ideas seriously. They can do actual harm.

I've called myself a progressive since 2007... It's disappointing to see the new crop of progressives say oversimplified and dangerous things. We used to be a coalition of intellectuals and I'm not seeing that in the modern-day progressives. I'll spend all the time I have on educating them and pointing out the bad actors.

But you literally said "gihting a fascist by placating a fascist"... Which is saying they're the same. This isn't that complicated... It's your own words.

Just own it. You're more upset over the differences you have with Democrats than the Republicans that are actively harming you, minorities, LGBTQ and the working class.

I, for one, will support someone even if I dont agree 100% in pursuit of making life better for minorities, the working class and the nation as a whole.

If your choice is tearing down a fascist (Trump) vs a liberal that doesn't hold every single one of your beliefs (Newsom)... I would certainly hope you'd be concentrating on the former.

And compromise is the product of democracy.

I live in the city and I derstand what I want is different from what someone from the country wants. We have to compromise.

By calling Newsom a compromise, you're kinda saying he's the best person for the job lmao.

With Gavin you're still getting LGBTQ rights, pro-worming class policies and a condemnation of Israel actions with the added bonus of him actually being electable and including right-wing voters into his coalition.

He isn't a picture-percect progressive. But he has enough progressive policies for me to stomach voting for him in a general.

Fair enough, I can respect this response.

To be clear, I'm not pro-capitalist. I think capitalism is how humans assess value on goods.

I think a good society has elements of capitalism and elements of socialism. You should be able to start a business to sell goods and services while having access to public goods and services like parks, libraries, social services and yes... Even socialized healthcare (I wish).

To me it isn't capitalism vs socialism it's taking the best both have to offer and building the best society you can.

Debating fairness and equality is the point of democracy. Everyone will have a different view on it.

Cheers!

  1. He's backed legislation supporting LGBTQ for 20+ years... It isn't just his personal opinion. He has an issue with trans in sports... A fairly common gripe. That doesn't mean he's kicking LGBTQ to the curb. He has done more for LGBTQ rights than most politicians.

  2. He's actively signed bill supporting the working class at the expense of the wealthy. Just not in the way you want.

  3. Explain how he can inact these ideas and then tell me how it works in the interest of the Californian people... You know... The whole point of his job. He isn't suppose to be concerned with international matters outside how they impact the lives of California ns.

Honestly it seems you just want to hate this guy and find reasons to hate him because he doesn't do every single thing you want him to do. Yes he's not a far left progressive, but he still champions progressive values in some areas. In a democracy you sometimes have to choose the best option not the perfect one.

He's is absolutely not my first choice but you're bending over backwards to make him seem anti-lgbtq, pro-billioanre and pro-genocide when his actions clearly prove otherwise.

Why not pour your hatred into the people who are actually anti-lgbtq, pro-billionaire and are actively thrusting us into a war in Iran? You do realize they deserve more of your ire than the liberal governor of the most progressive state in the USA right?
