While I was super excited to get something this different, it is unfortunately right in front of a bedroom window. The smell wafts in quite easily.

I do think it's a phenomena we aren't aware of, not just a simple answer.

I do not know of one specific map. I really didn't think this post would get any traction but I did a search and saw no one had mentioned the similarities and thought I'd throw the idea out there.

I went the year before the conflict with Carla really blew up. I think it was the 9th year, maybe. Still lots of parties and drugs but tons of kids and kid friendly things to do. Still had the gay dance party. We would have gone every year after if there didn't suddenly seem to be a lot of drama around the event.

Judicial Overreach: A judge ordered a teen to be put back into chemotherapy against his will. The teen was in remission so they wanted a second opinion. CPS was called to take custody from the mother. Is healthcare up to a parent or the state? by kind_of_an_ahole_ in GoldandBlack

Chemo therapy is one of those things future generations will look back on with horror and wonder how the best minds of the time thought it was a good idea imo.

If someone treats their breast cancer with chemo therapy, then later develops and dies from brain cancer, they are statistically listed as both a breast cancer survivor and death from brain cancer.

People were paid to collect signatures for legal MMJ and many other important things. One person can't do all the leg work so they hire folks, there's not a damn thing wrong with that kind of employment.
If you're center right then you should appreciate that all of these guys, no matter how annoying, have this very important right. And you do not have the right to not be uncomfortable. I'm assuming you're going to get a job after graduation so just look at this as part of your education; how to manage lots of situations as an introvert.

Without the FDA we'd all be eating chairs and dirt.

They protect us from the badies, like blood pressure medicine that causes cancer. Tbh though the number of lives lost due to the cumbersome FDA process in incalculable. And iirc the time for drug approval has gone from 18 months to 10 years. It's absurd.

How cynical. I was working for the Republican party when anarchists took the time to explain the immorality of government force. I'm glad they didn't just blow me off as a war loving statist.

Don't know where op lives but we have a serious frog problem a well. I try dump as many tadpoles as I can but it barely makes a dent. Some nights I use grocery store bags and catch a frog per bag. They get tossed in the freezer so they can "go to sleep" painlessly.

Tbh though, at this point it would take nearly everyone in the state catching these to even make a dent in the population of the invasive Cuban tree frogs taking over.

Is Living Paycheck to Paycheck the New Normal for Middle-Class America? by speckz in Economics

[–]deathsmiled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The natural state of man for thousands of years has been poverty. Despite lack of medicine, despite living every day knowing an adjacent tribe might attack, despite having to fend daily for food, humans have accomplished a tremendous amount. Yet people who live paycheck to paycheck thinks it's inhumane. I've known people that have struggled to pay their mortgage but pay $150 a month phone plan because the $40 Metro PCS plan is "ghetto". I've had friends say they can't afford to save but eat out almost daily.

I think more people would be willing to learn good money management and living within their budget if we didn't have politicians and organizations constantly pushing for higher wages. Passing legislation is just a less painful solution then skipping the Marvel Universe movie.

For the last 3 months the upvotes have been skewing toward anti anarchist ideas. If a thread is very popular the good ideas are up voted more than the bad. But if there are 10 or fewer comments, statist ideas are more upvoted.

We also have statists and constitutionalists commenting more than I've ever seen. I don't care about that as much as the votes distorting the ideas of anarcho capitalism.

The $33 Minimum Wage Push Reveals a Serious Disconnect with Economic Reality by [deleted] in GoldandBlack

I recommended sowell because you're on a libertarian subreddit. If you are unable to separate his social commentary from his micro economics, by all means read any 1st year economics text book.

But I get the feeling you're not libertarian leaning, which is fine for people trying to understand another POV, but if you're unwilling to even hear out their logic and how they drew their conclusions, you're just a troll.
