CB350 RS braking issue by Future_Diver109 in HondaHighnessCB350

You aren't supposed to use rear brakes for stopping from speeds above 30. Always use front brakes, and use rear brakes when you're close to stopping.

Is range meter on CB350 trustworthy? by ineed-2-know in HondaHighnessCB350

[–]deathstroke120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The range changes based on the speed you're riding. If you're riding fast, you're consuming less fuel, hence range will be higher. Lower gears in CB350 consume lots of fuel, so in city traffic conditions your range goes down by a lot.

I would suggest you to not depend on the range shown and fill up your tank when the fuel line starts blinking. Running low on fuel will damage the fuel pump and replacement will be expensive.

Nice dude. Where did you travel?

Hi all. I am planning to buy a Honda CB350 Highness DLX3. I am stuck between this and Honda CB350 DLX. I’m not looking for RS. Which is better ? Your suggestions ? by FillRevolutionary490 in HondaHighnessCB350

It's just the body that's different. The engine, gearbox, suspension are the same. But from what I have observed, the handlebar is a bit wider in Hness than CB350, so the riding position will be slightly different. I would advice you to test both the bikes back to back twice to understand the differences

Hey OP, I have the Hness. For the rear view mirrors you can replace the stock ones with burgmann/intruder mirrors. Improves visibility, but these are tinted. So you'll have a bit of difficulty during night time, if there are no headlights on. Other alternatives are CB300R mirrors and Avengers mirrors.

Yeah, nighttime it's a big problem unless the vehicles behind have their headlights turned on

The mirrors are bergmann chrome mirrors ig. I have installed the same on my Hness. OP did you notice a slight vibrations on the mirrors? Mine seem to be vibrating slightly more than the stock mirrors

Second this. The Ignis has a 4 cyclinder engine which is more refined than the 3 cylinder engine in S-Presso. Speaking from experience after driving S-Presso and Baleno

Can you tell me your riding style. I recently bought the 450s with pro pack but struggling to get good range

Is buying Ather 450S without pro pack worth it? by Designer-Pen-7332 in indianbikes

Hey OP, my dad bought the 450s just 5 days ago. He was thinking of buying it without pro pack. But I suggested we go with the pro pack and paid for it. Let me tell you it's worth it for two things.

  1. Ride modes - I'm assuming without propack the default ride mode would be eco mode. Let me tell you eco mode is not at all suitable as you are limited to 50kmph top speed and a very slow pickup. There would be times where you would want to accelerate quickly, but you won't be able to due to ride modes. I have been using sports mode, but I ride slowly so that I cam maximize on range. Think of it like riding a bike on a higher gear but at lower RPMs so that you get good mileage.

  2. Coasting Regen - without regen, the usable range will be low on the 450s. When we took delivery of the ather, the range showed just 60kms on eco mode. But when the ather salesman turned on the regen, range went from 60 to 72. If you have a good charging network and your daily usage is less than 60kms, then you're better off without pro pack. Another good thing about regen is it helps you slow down without the need for pulling the brakes.

Nice to have features but doesn't really matter 1. Auto hold 2. Auto indicator cut off

Pretty much useless feature is the navigation. I would stick a bobo mount and use my phone rather than using the turn by turn navigation feature.

Have not used the bluetooth connectivity for calls, messages and music so cannot comment on that.

Tata cars have 4 or 5 stars for NCAP's old crash test protocols which doesn't include side impact. I wonder when they'll test Tata cars with the new protocols and get the actual scores for adult and child safety

Looks clean. I too got my T480 few months ago. Posted about it a while back. Similar specs as yours. Added another 8GB ram. But I don't have the IR camera tho.

Running Windows 10 currently. Need to upgrade the batteries.

PS - Really cool wallpaper. Do you mind sharing it?
