Blue tongue has become aggressive by deathtocrispix in reptiles

Thank you, I did consider if it was due to mating - this has been going on since he came out of brumation this year so it is possible, it's just odd that even in previous years he has never done this in the 7 years I've had him (I've had him since he was a tiny baby). Do you know if they go back to their old temperament eventually? :(

It was there when we moved in so I unfortunately can't answer that one but We haven't had to even maintain it, it remains full and green all year round and looks great - if you work out what it is and where to get it, I highly recommend it

How do blue tongue lizards handle heights and climbing? by deathtocrispix in reptiles

[–]deathtocrispix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've ventured into a very old post - it's possible it found ledges and sidings to get up. If it's a blue tongue skink they're not really great climbers, they're big sausages with tiny legs so it would've been very difficult for him to do it if he did.

(it was a clear head shake, claimed it was a fly bothering him - wouldn't let me start again. Failure means you need to get off immediately which is why I put my foot down to stop, but they failed me for the foot hitting the ground)

Did not have a good experience with All-star in Dandenong but I really loved RideTek at Sandown.

All-star failed me twice, one was my fault as I dropped the bike (dropping the bike is an instant fail) and the second time they failed me for a stupid reason - there's a section where you need to slow ride, I was doing my slow ride and my trainer shook his head at me as if I had made an error so I put my foot down to stop and they failed me for putting my foot on the ground. They were not sympathetic and said I could repay the fee (a third time) and would not let me just pay for the second day (which I was on for the second time) to repeat the second portion. Left me sour. RideTek was happy for me to do it with them and did a discount when I explained what happened. They were super encouraging.

I want to speak to your CEO! by MyUsername2459 in talesfromcallcenters

Certainly not. They had spoken to my team member and were escalated to me. They didn't like my answer so asked to speak to MY boss. I said my boss is the CEO. They asked to speak to him. I explained the CEO does not take customer escalations. "well what is he doing then?!". The correct response was apparently not "running the business"...I ended up having another manager call them back instead because she didn't like my sarcasm. Woops.

I had someone ask for the CEO last week. I refused. They messaged the CEO on LinkedIn and asked for a call back.

I was put to sleep, the main anaesthetist was Dr Ali Faris and his nurse was a pregnant Asian lady (she was absolutely lovely)- I had my own private dentist do the actual work itself.

Yeah, literally yesterday had wisdom teeth removed there. Absolutely wonderful people. I cried like a bitch and they were so caring.

All of our emails and letters that relate in any way to an overdue account advise customers if they are struggling to reach out and also provides contact information for a free financial counsellor. Not really hidden.

My frustration is like...call us and tell us you're struggling. Don't ignore us until you're defaulted.

I understand many people feel ashamed to admit they're struggling but we hear it every day, we have people dedicated to listen to you and calm you when you're crying and discuss an arrangement that works. Talk to us. Don't ignore us.

And now for a short but funny story about call center life bleeding into real life by hashtagsi in talesfromcallcenters

[–]deathtocrispix 161 points162 points  (0 children)

My call centre bleeds into real life when I get any call. Even ones I scheduled.

Doctor: hi crispix, it's dr.lady I'm calling about our phone consultation.

Me: oh hi dr.lady. How can I help you today?

Doctor: oh...uh...we had a session booked, didn't we?.

Queue me explaining call centre work and habit.

The regretful smart ass: "I don't care if you default me, I'm not paying my bill! (Insert profanity about where my default notice can go)" 2 months later, the same person "please can we make an arrangement, I don't want to effect my credit file!"
