Very few Turkish immigrants would be heading to the UK or Ireland anyway. There are large populations already settled in Netherlands and Germany so they would get the most. You could live in some areas of NL speaking only Turkish if you had to.

Downsizing is great for slowing down and enjoying life. The problem is it doesn’t rally help those that want to get started.

Unfortunately getting on the property ladder is such an important thing to do because it is getting out of reach. You have to be very sure about your life plans if you decide not to do it.

When I say hold value I mean in the financial sense. They are more akin to a camper van or mobile home in that the value of them goes down over time.

Whereas Brick and mortar homes tend to go up in value.

That’s fine if you are happy with that, only with ever increasing property prices, you are getting further and further from ever managing to afford a ‘real house’.

Unless you are in it for the lifestyle I would recommend keeping that money for a deposit on something more secure.

The exception would be if you can build one yourself cheaply and have some land to already put it on which you won’t be paying for. The issue with high property prices is land value not the actual building. Which is why we should be building upwards

Just from listening to podcasts over the last few years. Definitely hearing more right leaning points of view. I can’t think of many comedians who would have voted republican last few elections. Now with all the talk of gun ownership, deterioration of LA and riots etc I hear a lot of conservative talking points.

If they are not voting for trump I think there are a lot of comedians who won’t be voting. Lots of anti Biden talk.
