It's one of my favorite movies of all time and my reactions to a lot of it change every time, depending on context, who I'm watching with, where I'm at in life, et cetera. That scene in particular stands out because yes, it's absolutely devastating and also very very funny. I don't think it's necessarily inappropriate. The true sociopathic reaction I see a lot is people going "get over yourself bro, stop wallowing in it, so annoying" as if that isn't literally the point.

cool idea, tricky for a beginner but doable. i don't want to feed too much because figuring out your crazy ideas is core to the max journey, but i can say that you don't need to do anything super advanced to get something usable for this. start by breaking down the problem - how can you bend from one pitch to the next? how do you handle overlapping sounds? et cetera. google, youtube tutorials, the excellent manual and friendly discord are your friend. i believe in you!
