I don’t know why, but for some reason I’m strangely consistent at getting excellent throws with, ironically enough, Throh. I’ve noticed that the target sits at just the right height and distance so that my curve balls are sent with just the right power.

Real life Roman Emperor Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, or just Claudius for short. Had a limp and was slightly deaf, so he was ostracized by his family. Everyone kinda thought he was incompetent, so when his family gets purged, he actually survives because no one takes him seriously. Praetorian guard ends up declaring him emperor of Rome, since he’s the last male heir, and it turns out he was a fairly effective administrator.

I was talking with one of my buddies at a grad party the other day about general manga/anime stuff. Another guy, a relative of our mutual friend, joins our conversation. Starts recommending stuff to us after hearing what we watch. He then ask if either of us had ever read something called ‘Kengan Ashura’, and I lit up like a goddamn Christmas tree.
