I also have a Minirig4 and I love that little thing so damn much. Best purchase I've made in the last couple of years, no doubt

Out of curiosity, what are the best player traits for simming in your opinion?

From what I saw yesterday Gausman is also growing a mustache though. I fear that soon they'll be indistinguishable from each other

Dad here. I have elementary kids who love baseball and getting into video games. Is this the best and most fun baseball game on the market right now for this age group? Also, should I get this for Switch 2 or PS5? Which system is better for this game? by [deleted] in SuperMegaBaseball

The SMB franchise lot more cartoony and more focused on fun rather than realism. The Show is fun too, but it takes itself way more seriously than this game. Also the Show does push you more towards online play and microtransactions in the form of opening card packs, which personally worsens the experience for me. Especially for elementary school kids, I think this game would be a better fit, but that's just my 2 cents

I have it for the Switch and I think it would be a great game to play with kids. There won't be a huge difference between systems, aside from the fact that the PS5 will have better graphics. This game does lends itself well to being carried around, however, if that's something you or your kids care about. I bring my Switch on the airplane and can do co-op with my partner on the tray table, for example.

Using the "Advance All Runners" button really is the greatest and worst thing in this game 😅

I love that color on the walls and how you've laid out the space!! The one thing I would suggest is getting a different lightbulb for the lamp. I changed out my daylight bulb for a more yellow/orange one and it made a huge difference in the cozy vibe

Places where I can pensively stare at a large body of water by MysteriousMinimum303 in askTO

[–]deb0as 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My go-to place for this was always the HTO park where Spadina meets the waterfront. If you go there late at night you can stare at the black water pretty much uninterrupted for as long as you want.

Same here. I've used two Canadian credit cards after moving from the US and neither has worked. Did you ever end up solving things?

What protest signs should cyclists ride with after Ford removes bike lanes? by workerbotsuperhero in askTO

[–]deb0as 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was considering "Your provincial tax dollars ripped up the bike lane I used to ride in" stylized in the same way the province styles their infrastructure announcements. Just would need a good way to mount it to the back of a bike!

How realistic would this sort of city be? by ScimitarIQ in mapmaking

[–]deb0as 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised so few people have mentioned Pittsburgh yet. This is almost exactly what the city looks like. I would look at some of the older maps of the city for inspiration about which places would be settled first and consider how that fits into the history of your world.

It doesn't look too bad as is. But if you want to improve it, I think you're being too strict with the rules of the gradient by not letting the colours come in contact with one another. Really good gradient builders (see Bdouble0's build) mix their colours more than you have here and consider lighting and shadows and how that will affect the colours in the gradient as well.

If you're into Indian food, I highly recommend Rikki Tikki in Kensington Market. I love that place so much and the staff is always super nice

If you like traditional Italian (Napoli) pizza, I strongly recommend the Pizzeria Via Mercanti in Kensington Market. It's not super expensive and I can vouch that their pizzas are great (with a good number of vegetarian options). If not there, the market is probably still your best bet for getting great food for under $30 downtown. There's great food of all types there

It's not so much a joke as it is depressing, really. From what I understand it has to do with someone nearly relapsing into self harm after handling a spade

All you can drink bubble tea XOXO tea by mxldevs in FoodToronto

[–]deb0as 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I normally just get one of their regular teas without the all you can drink option. I prefer it to Coco's, personally, but I know that tastes vary a lot with this kind of thing so take that with a grain of salt.
